PERAN VISUAL EVOKED POTENTIAL PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE-2 DENGAN DAN TANPA RETINOPATI DIABETIK
Bill Jones Tanawal,* Melke Joanne Tumboimbela,** Corry Novita Mahama**
Introduction: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a common complication of type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Minimal functional change of neural layers of the retina occurs before structural changes, thus undetected by funduscopy. This damage could be identified earlier by P100 latency changes in visual evoked potential (VEP).
PENILAIAN KUALITAS HIDUP EORTC QLQ-C30 DAN EORTC QLQ-BN20 PADA PASIEN TUMOR PRIMER INTRAKRANIAL PASCATERAPI
Ratih Puspa,* Yusuf Wibisono,* Henny Anggraini Sadeli*
Introduction: Increasing number of surviving primary intracranial tumor patients in line with discovery of new treatment will increase the patient’s morbidity. This makes quality of life of patient need to be evaluated.
FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI NEUROPATI PERIFER TERKAIT HIV DI MANADO
Deivy Cirayow,* Arthur Hendrik Philips Mawuntu,* Herlyani Khosama*
Introduction: There are several sociodemographic and clinical factors that influence the development of HIV associated peripheral neuropathy (HIV-PN). Manado has different sociodemographic and clinical characteristics from other regions. However, the percentage of HIV-PN and its influencing factors are unknown.
KORELASI DIAMETER SELUBUNG NERVUS OPTIK DAN MARSHALL CT SCORE DENGAN SKALA KOMA GLASGOW PADA CEDERA KEPALA
Rani Maria Yogipranata,* Hermina Sukmaningtyas*
Introduction: In traumatic brain injury (TBI), non-contrast brain CT scan is able to detect an increase in intracranial pressure, which is crucial in patient’s management. Optic nerve sheath diameter’s (ONSD) measurement is a new method that is expected to assess an increase in intracranial pressure noninvasively. Marshall CT score is a valid instrument, a de facto standard to classify head injury patient which correlates with an increased intracranial pressure.
PREDIKTOR SYMPTOMATIC INTRACEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE PASCATROMBOLISIS INTRAVENA PADA STROKE ISKEMIK AKUT
Al Rasyid,* Salim Harris,* Mohammad Kurniawan,* Rakhmad Hidayat,* Taufik Mesiano*
ABSTRACT Despite its effectiveness, the percentage of ischemic stroke patients who received definitive treatment, thrombolysis, never went above 10%, due to one of the reason is the occurrence of severe, post-therapeutic complications, such as symptomatic intracerebral hemorrhage (sICH). Several factors contribute to sICH occurrence are age, severity of stroke, early changes of ischemic sign, hyperglycemia, blood pressure, antiplatelet use and its interval.
PALIDOTOMI UNTUK PENYAKIT PARKINSON: LAPORAN 3 KASUS
Muhammad Agus Aulia,* Adolf Setiabudi,* Handrianto Setiajaya,* Agus Yunianto,* Lukman Maruf*
ABSTRACT Pallidotomy for Parkinson’s disease has recently developed in Indonesia for the last 6 years. Unlike Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) implantation, Pallidotomy procedure is fully covered by Indonesian National Health Insurance, therefore it is expected that this procedure could be perform to all indicated Parkinson’s Disease (PD) patients.

Introduction: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the entrapment of the median nerve at the carpal tunnel.
PENGUKURAN TINGKAH LAKU PADA MODEL NYERI NEUROPATIK PERIFER: TIKUS DENGAN CCI (CHRONIC CONSTRICTION INJURY)>/em>
Hanik Badriyah Hidayati,* Paulus Sugianto,* Junaidi Khotib,** Chrismawan Ardianto,** Kuntoro,*** Mohammad Hasan Machfoed*
ABSTRACT Neuropathic pain occurs in 20% of patients with chronic pain. This mainly due to the lack of effective treatment and the presence of drug’s side effects. Animal models have been broadly utilized in validating the therapeutic target and the development of analgesic drugs. Chronic constriction injury (CCI) is a model of peripheral neuropathic pain characterized by allodynia and hyperalgesia.
FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH DALAM LUARAN KLINIS PASIEN TETANUS DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Luther Theng,* Theresia Christin,* Erial Bahar**
Introduction: Tetanus is a serious health problem with mortality rate up to 60% despite the decreasing incidence rate every year. Knowledge about factors affecting clinical outcome of tetanus patients may reduce mortality rate, better understanding on prevention and management of the disease.
